FinDev's flagship product, ActiveBroker(c), is an end-to-end business solution for stock brokers and is able to operate in many diverse financial environments across Africa. ActiveBroker Enterprise Edition(c) caters for stock exchanges environments using the legacy "Open Outcry" environment to fully electronic Automated Trading Systems (ATS) and Central Securities Depositories (CDS) systems.
Following a rigorous accreditation process, FinDev was recently admitted as a member of the Botswana International Financial Services Centre (www.ifsc.co.bw). The IFSC is a Botswana Government initiative established to develop Botswana as a world-class hub for the delivery of cross-border financial services to clients in other countries. Part of the IFSC's mandate is 'To promote and assist the development and supply of computer software for use in the provision of financial services'.
As an accredited member of the IFSC, FinDev falls under the auspices of Botswana central bank (Bank of Botswana) and is constantly monitored and regulated by their banking supervision department. |
